About

Built in a machine shop.

Milford Machining & Fabrication is an Ontario business registered in 2023 in Prince Edward County. Axiom is its computational engineering division.

Where we come from

Behind MMF is more than ten years of CAD and machining, alongside industrial machinery design, fabrication, installation, machine safety and automation controls. We take equipment from first sketch to a commissioned, wired and documented machine on the floor.

Why Axiom

Some parts are too complex, or change too often, to draw by hand. Computational design solves that by encoding the engineering rules and generating the geometry from them. Axiom is the division that does this work.

It is grounded in hardware we have designed, built and installed: positioning systems, material handling, control panels, off-grid power and structures. Every rule we write is checked against how the part will be cut, welded, wired and maintained.

Our flagship project, RDE-2, was designed end to end this way. We share images and outcomes only; technical details are withheld for export-control reasons. Read how it was designed →

What we value

  1. 01

    Make it buildable

A design is finished when it can be made, not when it renders.

  2. 02

    Say what it is

Plain scopes, fixed quotes and honest timelines.

  3. 03

    Leave it maintainable

Native files, documented rules, labelled wiring. You shouldn't need us to change it.

  4. 04

    Respect the rules

Export controls, IP and confidentiality handled before files move.
